This day has finally arrived: after several rounds of alpha testing with existing customers, we can finally announce that you can sign up for a completely new version of QuickAdminPanel:

Why a new version?

You can read the whole story in this article, but in brief:

– More stable for large panels (this was the main problem)
– Choice of visual themes
– Better generated code
– Better code base to allow us to create new features

See the first video of the demo project here:

What happens to your account?

– BOTH versions will be active and available until at least the end of 2019.
– If you have a Developer/Agency account, simply sign up for the 2019 version and your plan will transfer with the same expiration date. Free of charge.
– If you don’t have an active plan (or if you have a One Project plan), sign up for the 2019 version and you’ll get a 14-day trial.
– In the new version, we abandoned the Developer plan, because it was too difficult/buggy to support two different codebases for Developer/Agency.

So, which version should you use?

Important Warning: In the new version, some functions from old versions are still missing: Import CSV module, Combined Migrations and some others. We are working on it in April.
– But the new version is better and more stable, and I already use it for customer projects.
– Unfortunately, you cannot import panels from the old version to the new one, the structure is too different.
– Probably in 2020 we will abandon the current version and move the 2019 subdomain to the main quickadminpanel.com.

If you have any questions regarding your plan, please email me personally povilas@laraveldaily.com.
In the meantime, we will continue working on the new 2019 version, with many more features to come.

I also wrote a story of my own 15 lessons learned during this 9 month period of recreating QuickAdminPanel. I learned a lot – both as a developer and as a product owner/founder. Read the article on my Medium blog.
