Because of a little travel, I just got back to my home airport and came straight back to the lounge, ready to board the same plane I just landed on, so I could catch a flight to Stockholm, then Copenhagen, and finally Istanbul. And that’s what it’s all about.
Remember at the start of the season, years and years ago, you thought we had a chance of winning silverware, well it’s starting to feel like that might be the case again.
And yes, I know it might not last, but for now, as long as we keep Unai for next season and I’m writing this because you never know what’s going to happen in this game these days, I think I’m going to go into the new season thinking we can win something.
And I’m writing this a few days before we can win some silverware. I say could because Freiburg are good enough to qualify for the final and that’s why we shouldn’t be too optimistic. This is a game that could go either way and we have to approach this game pretty much the same way we have approached a lot of games recently.
And I’m writing about Forest in the second leg, even the Liverpool game this weekend. Liverpool fans will have you believe it’s because the team is disjointed, but we were better than them and we wanted it more. You have to want more on Wednesday and for 95 minutes.
There can be no stupid mistakes. There has to be control. If we have these things and they are things controlled by the players on the pitch, I am confident that the coach will give the players a goal and the approach they should take. If they do their part, Unai will do his.
If you couldn’t tell, and maybe you couldn’t, I’m in seventh heaven right now. Supporting a club means wanting that club to win silverware and we are within reach. It comes down to 90 minutes on Wednesday. And it’s ours if we really want it.
Anyway, my next flight leaves in fifteen hours, I have to run. But I’ll come back tomorrow. I am absolutely buzzing. And, there’s a post coming up, after the season all about Tyrone Mings, I got inspired. I don’t know how this is going to play out, but the main message is about the player and how he brings value to the team.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm.
