Warm, crystal clear waters, multiple dive sites, 70 types of coral and around 400 species of fish characterise diving in Belize. Ambergris Caye offers 25 miles of Belize Barrier Reef less than 1km offshore. Great dives include the Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef and the Elbow at Turneffe Atoll. Whale sharks can be sighted in the southern reef at Gladden Spit and Silk Cayes Canyon from April to June.
